1. What GasBakkie is
GasBakkie is a marketplace app that connects consumers who need liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders with independent local agents who sell and deliver them. GasBakkie facilitates discovery, payment, and delivery tracking between consumers and agents.
2. Agents are independent sellers
Every agent on GasBakkie sells LPG as an independent business, in their own name, at prices they set. GasBakkie is not the seller of the LPG. Agents separately agree to their own terms describing this relationship in more detail.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use GasBakkie honestly: accurate delivery and payment information, no fraudulent orders or payments, no abuse of other users or agents.
4. Payments
Depending on the order, you may pay in-app (held until delivery is confirmed) or in cash on delivery. Payment processing for in-app payments is handled by our payment partner. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Your information
We collect the information needed to operate the marketplace — your contact details, delivery addresses, and order history — and use it to run and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Liability
GasBakkie facilitates transactions between consumers and agents but is not a party to the underlying sale of LPG. To the extent permitted by law, GasBakkie's liability is limited to its role as a facilitator.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will require you to accept the updated terms again before continuing to use the app.
